K-Cups Not Only Make Bad Coffee, They Make Bad Environments
According to CNBC, the way K-Cups are constructed, they can’t be recycled. Paper and foil are strongly adhered to the plastic capsule making so that sorting facilities can’t separate the materials.
Oh, and they make terrible coffee.

Happy to help spread the word on this. I, and I assume anyone else who has worked in an office with one of these slutty coffee demons, have been mystified that people are actually buying this garbage for their homes. This is not a snob thing, a $4 tin of Maxwell House is superior in every way.

^^ For a moment in time (read: post-boxing day sale time), I actually considered buying a Kurieg. They aren’t too pricy, and make that kinda yummy Donut Shop flavour coffee from Timothy’s/Target. But then I realized how pricey the little demons K-cups are, and I started reading stuff like this protesting that they basically ruin the earth. So good choice me.

(and also, I happen to like my Maxwell House/French press morning cup o’joe)
