Hey Toronto, a lovely remix of our graceful, intelligent, eloquent, recently vegetable consuming mayor talking about us, the tax payers, and our subways.
perfect on so many levels

Queen/Spark: Mayor Sighting 13
I can’t be positive since I was a few floors up looking out of my office window, but I’m like 80% sure that I saw Rob Ford steal some hot dogs from a food cart. He was literally reaching behind the counter and grabbing hot dogs off the grill and it looked like the guy was yelling at him.

Tonight this guy (picture above) was elected the 64th mayor or Toronto. He’s a racist, homophobic prick with very few (okay, no) positive political ideas. Basically he’s going to run the city into the ground (but at least City Hall will be comedy central)
And I’m not one to bash someone based on their looks, but the photo above? That’s his mug shot, yup, his fuckingMUG SHOT.
I guess my life as a second class Toronto citizen begins now.
Doesn’t look like Toronto is on the death spiral that the Mayoral candidates have portrayed.
…But I will trash talk the TTC. :-/
Have I mentioned how much I love my city? And this is a nice reminder of how good we have it. Don’t forget to vote!
Frontrunner Rob Ford losing steam in Toronto mayoral race: poll
From The Globe and Mail:
A survey of 400 Toronto voters released Monday evening found Rob Ford leading with 28 per cent, compared with 23 per cent for his closest rival George Smitherman and 10 per cent for third-place candidate Joe Pantalone. Sarah Thomson and Rocco Rossi were tied, with seven per cent of respondents.
Significantly, this latest Ipsos-Reid poll indicates that if it was just down to the former deputy premier and the grandiloquent Etobicoke councillor, Mr. Smitherman would win – 48 per cent of respondents said they’d vote for him, compared with 45 per cent who said they’d vote for Mr. Ford if the Oct. 25 election were held today.
Yes, yes yes, let’s keep this going toronto, and STOP FORD! (I don’t know about the rest of you, but I want to keep my rights, and keep my city moving forward)
