every summer for as long as I can remember, my mum and I have made it a point to go to the Ex. Even after I was too old for ice cream waffles and pony rides we still make it a point to go. This year, even though things are different, they still remain the same. #justanotherreasontolovemymum.
Frontrunner Rob Ford losing steam in Toronto mayoral race: poll

A survey of 400 Toronto voters released Monday evening found Rob Ford leading with 28 per cent, compared with 23 per cent for his closest rival George Smitherman and 10 per cent for third-place candidate Joe Pantalone. Sarah Thomson and Rocco Rossi were tied, with seven per cent of respondents.
Significantly, this latest Ipsos-Reid poll indicates that if it was just down to the former deputy premier and the grandiloquent Etobicoke councillor, Mr. Smitherman would win – 48 per cent of respondents said they’d vote for him, compared with 45 per cent who said they’d vote for Mr. Ford if the Oct. 25 election were held today.

I’m so happy this show is back. Like most people Canadians, I’m really skeptical to watch home-grown movies/films, but I fell in love with Erica Strange last winter when I was home with the flu. This programme is so well written, so well and acted, and possibly too original for it’s own good.
So, in January, I have to go see this play for my English class. I’m so damn excited. If I wasn’t such a student (read: almost always broke), I’d go see plays regularly. Sadly, until I grow up and am somewhat established, my theatre fetish must be condensed into reviews for class.
This lovely designer (quite possibly my favourite Canadian designer!) just got added to the LG Fashion Week lineup (Wednesday @6pm, studio), and I am beyond excited. I hope I get to work this show (fingers crossed!)
Today after work I went over to Kensington to grab some groceries, and heard these hipsters talking about King of Kensington, a tv programme from the late 70s. Despite the bad quality of this video, it’s safe to say that it’s hardly changed.
Tonight I fell in love with Jessica Jensen. The runway show was absolutely fantastic; great music, great designs, great energy, and STUNNING models.
